INTRODUCTION

Marvelux Hotel is the newest hotel to be launched in the UNESCO World Heritage City of Melaka and is opened to the public in October, 2011.
This 6-storey hotel block with 100 rooms comes complete with modern amenities and facilities and is located along Jalan Kota Laksamana fronting the open sea or to be precise, the Straits of Malacca.
Marvelux Hotel provide among the best in the hospitality trade – with top class services along with its own characteristic charm, maximum comfort and total care for its guests.


STRATEGIC LOCATION / MAP

Marvelux Hotel is strategically located within the Melaka Historical City, along the sea front and ideally within close proximity to all the UNESCO World Heritage sites – approximately 6 minutes drive to reach the Dutch-built Stadhuys, St Paul’s Hill, Independence Memorial, Sultanate Palace, Chinatown, Heeren Street and Jonker Street or popularly known as ‘Jonker Walk’ museums and other interesting sites.
It’s also not too faraway from the Tourist Information Centre and Melaka Sentral where all the major public transport such as taxis, buses and out-station coaches are sited and a short distance away to the shopping malls, souvenir centres and food outlets and restaurants serving popular local delights such as Nyonya Laksa, Satay, Asam Pedas, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Satay Celup, Ikan Bakar Cendol, Nasi Briani, Indian Banana Leave Rice, Thosay, Nan Tandori Chicken and many more savoury dishes and cuisines .

EXCELLENT FEATURES

Marvelux Hotel has been built based on a unique conceptual design – which provide ample up-to-date facilities and amenities with the primary aim of giving maximum comfort to the guests.

Based on modern chic designs, the hotel generates lots of space, thus providing delight and joy to whoever that walks through the doors and corridors of the hotel lobby and reception area. There are also meeting rooms providing the necessary facilities.

To ensure the guests’ primary safety, 24-hour security services are in place. There are also ample covered car parking spaces. Above all, the hotel also has facilities and provisions made for the disabled.


HOTEL LOBBY AND GUESTS’ WAITING AREAS

The spacious hotel lobby surrounded by glass-panels accentuates the warm ambience. The modern cosy furniture such as sofas and chairs are backed with warm tonal coated coloured paints such as apple green, orange and pearl white.

Overhead LCD televisions are placed in strategic corners to provide entertainment while the guests sit and relax or enjoying their drinks. Green plants and beautiful flowers as well as paintings are adorned all over to lend coolness and delight. Two lifts and washing rooms are also located with the lobby’s vicinity. Free Water Drinking Facilities are also provided.


MANAGERS & EXECUTIVE OFFICES

To facilitate and attend to all the guests’ needs and requirements, both the Manager and Executive Offices are located on the Ground Floor.


RESTAURANT & CAFE

There are several popular restaurants and a cafe providing a wide variety of excellent local and western cuisines and beverages for the convenience of the guests which are located on Level 1.
 

ROOMS

MARVELUX HOTEL ROOMS

Marvelux Hotel has a total capacity of 100 rooms where each and every room is specially designed to cater to the comforts of the hotel guests. All the rooms have an open balcony overlooking the spectacular view of the wide open sea or better known as The Straits of Malacca – the busiest sea lane in the world!

The rooms are fully air-conditioned with a mix of Suites, Deluxe and Superior rooms and are fully-equipped with all the up-to-date modern facilities and comforts.

Among the wide range of facilities equipped in the include LCD TV, Complimentary Internet Access & Wifi, Telephones, a Mini Bar, Coffee & Tea Maker, Shower Bathroom, Hairdryer and a Safe Box.


I. FAMILY SUITES

There are eight ( 8 ) Family Suites which are exquisitely designed with a premier outlook to provide an excellent stay and to meet the demands and the tastes of discerning guests.

With delightful high ceilings, warm and soothing lightings and beautiful coloured walls matched with the draped curtains and beautiful paintings, the Suites provide an air of superiority and total comfort.

The open balcony which directly overlooks the Straits of Malacca provides a spectacular view and ushers gentle cool breezes particularly at night.

With twin King-sized beds and side tables, modern cosy furniture such as sofas, chairs and cupboards and built-in facilities, our guests will be accorded the best stay possible - spaciously roomy and with maximum comfort. Each room measures 520 sq. ft. in size.


II. DELUXE ROOMS

There are a total of eight ( 8 ) Deluxe Rooms are delightfully warm and cosy with splendid designs which provide plenty of space. Similarly, the rooms are equipped with all the premier hotel room facilities with 1 unit King-size bed and 1 single-bed.

Every room has a balcony which offers a panoramic view of the sea. A happy and luxurious stay is assured, be it, for couples or families as all the primary comforts are catered for. Every room measures 333 sq. ft. in size.


III. SUPERIOR ROOMS

There are a total of 84 Superior rooms and each are uniquely designed to lend maximum comfort with adequate facilities. There’s a choice of either 1 King size or 2 Super single-sized beds along with cosy furniture set.

With beautifully painted coloured walls, delightful paintings and equipped with all the hotel’s trimmings - guests are assured of a warm, delightful and memorable stay. The rooms are 244 sq. ft. in size.

    o Distance: 88.00 MI/ 1138.0 KM NORTH WEST to Marvelux Hotel
    o Exit the KLIA, take the Johor Bahru/Seremban exit and proceed to North South Highway. Exit the Ayer Keroh Melaka toll and proceed to Pusat Bandar/ Melaka Raya. We are located along Jalan Syed Abdul Aziz.
  • Train:
    o Station Name: Tampin Railway Station.
    o Distance: 26.1 MI/ 42.0 KM SOUTH WEST to Hotel.
    o Taxi charge (one way): RM80.00 MYR
    o Follow the signboard of Alor Gajah towards South. About 30 minutes drive; look out for signage that indicates Melaka Raya. Marvelux Hotel is located along Jalan Syed Abdul Aziz.
  • Driving Instructions:
    o From North - use the North South-PLUS Highway and head South following the signage of Johor Bahru/Seremban. Exit at Ayer Keroh Melaka exit and follow signboard to Melaka Raya. Marvelux Hotel is located along Jalan Syed Abdul Aziz.
    o From South – use the North-South-PLUS Highway and head North towards Kuala Lumpur/Ipoh. From Johor Bahru, it will take about two and a half hour drive. Exit at Ayer Keroh Melaka exit and follow signboard to Melaka Raya. Marvelux Hotel is located along Jalan Syed Abdul Aziz.
    o From East – Use the Karak Highway and head towards Kuala Lumpur for about an hour drive. Then use the North South-PLUS highway and head South following the signage of Johor Bahru/Seremban. Exit at Ayer Keroh Melaka exit and follow signboard to Melaka Raya. Marvelux Hotel is located along Jalan Syed Abdul Aziz.
    o From West – Melaka state is situated on the South West of Malaysia. If heading to Melaka along the West Coast, using the coastal roads will provide breath-taking views.
